Wesley E. Romberger, III
About
Wesley Romberger is a Managing Director and Senior Financial Appraiser with The Mentor Group. He has diverse and substantive expertise in the valuation of both public and closely-held companies. Engagements have involved options, preferred and common stock, derivative securities pricing and intangible assets. He has counseled many buyers and sellers, and written detailed prospectus for raising capital.
His research and expertise covers a wide range of industries for both the public and private firms. Mr. Romberger has planned and implemented numerous financial models utilized in the valuation, bankruptcy and structured finance practices. Additionally, he has conducted extensive research on the net asset value discount for the secondary limited partnerships and family limited partnerships. He has completed valuations that dealt with litigation, acquisitions and mergers, solvency testing for bankruptcy, estate and gift taxes, restructurings, private and public placements of debt and equity, corporate dissolutions, and others.
Prior to working with The Mentor Group, Mr. Romberger was a manager in the valuation services practice of Coopers & Lybrand. He was also a consultant for the Personal Financial Services tax practice. Before Coopers & Lybrand, he owned and operated his own firm, specializing in the construction and restoration of older homes.
